Google Launches New Customer Acquisition Goal To Help Advertisers Grow Their Customer Base

This week Google have announced a new feature for acquiring new customers on search. The tool that was previously in beta has now been launched globally and will help advertisers reach new customers.

With the help of first party data and smart bidding strategies advertisers will now be able to target new customers specifically or create value rules where you can bid more to acquire a new customer versus an existing customer.

This is an exciting update that will help advertisers grow their current customer base and ensure that Marketers are prioritising and discovering higher value customers .

This is yet another Google release that only highlights the importance of using first party data in a post-cookie world. This is the latest update, alongside consent mode and enhanced conversions, that Google has released to ensure that advertisers are prepared and the loss of data, once cookies are depreciated, is minimised.
