IAB Ireland Highlights Benefits of Gold Standard Certification in New Awareness Campaign

IAB Ireland operate with a remit of “prove, promote and protect the Irish online advertising industry”. As part of this remit, IAB Ireland have recently unveiled its first digital advertising campaign to showcase the IAB Gold standard which is aimed at enhancing the digital advertising landscape in Ireland. The campaign includes display, social, and video and is currently running across IAB Ireland member sites.

One of the goals of the campaign is to raise awareness of the Gold Standard certification and encourage more brands to come onboard to continue to improve the digital advertising experience across Ireland.

Gold standard was originally developed by IAB UK and was adopted by IAB Ireland in February 2021.This powerful initiativem which is acknowledged globally has continued to adapt over time to meet the needs of a rapidly changing industry helping to maintain a healthy and sustainable digital advertising ecosystem.

The Gold Standard has four main aims in which Core upholds the highest standards for:

1.         To uphold brand safety

2.         To tackle ad fraud

3.         To improve the digital advertising experience and

4.         To help compliance with the GDPR and E-Privacy law

Core were the first IAB Ireland agency member at the time to achieve IAB Gold Standard certification in 2021 and are currently in the process of achieving the certification for the fourth consecutive year.
